Wood Middle School

1. Students must register for winter sports on ParentVUE. Registration for middle school winter sports opens Monday October 27th 2025 at noon!

2. Students must have an up-to-date physical on file. Once a physician has completed the Pre-Participation Form, you may upload it to ParentVue, have your child turn it into the nurse or email it to Jason Thibeault. Physicals are good for two years so if your child has had one in the last two years they do not need a new one.

3. Tryouts are projected to start on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025. Tryouts will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Coaches may need to make cuts depending on the number of students trying out. Students should be prepared to attend tryouts until the final roster is submitted which is December 18th. Tryouts are after school from 3:15-4:20pm. Students will need a ride or can use the activity bus. Students who are not registered will not be able to try out. The deadline to submit registrations is the end of the day Monday December 8th. Please plan accordingly.

4. Students should come prepared with all necessary equipment, clothes, water, etc. Students will not be permitted to leave to get equipment and attend tryouts. They should bring everything they need to school for tryouts.
