Attention, Eighth Graders! Did you know that you have choices about where you will attend high school next year? Well, you do! You can attend Richard Montgomery, Rockville, Winston Churchill, or Wootton High School! Here’s why… MCPS is not only continuing with its dual enrollment programs, but also launching “Center programs” from five thematic areas. The five themes are: Medical Science; International Baccalaureate, Humanities, & Languages; Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM); Leadership & Public Service; and Visual & Performing Arts.

We will be holding a “Center Programs Fair” for students on Tuesday, September 22nd in the Media Center during 8th grade lunch. Representatives from Richard Montgemory, Rockville, Churchill, and Wootton will be here to provide you with information about the Thematic Programs at their respective schools as well as all of the other great things each school has to offer!

Parents can bring their students to the Central Region Showcase Information sessions attached in the weekend message.
