Three Exciting Events for Our 8th Graders!

8th Grade End of Year Activites

1. Dave & Busters Field Trip

  • Date: Thursday, June 5th (during school day)
  • Cost: $45 per student
  • Payment Deadline: Wednesday, June 4th
  • How to Pay: Cash/check to school OR online at schoolcashonline.com
  • Required: Completed permission slip + payment

 

2. Promotion Ceremony

  • Date: Tuesday, June 10th, 5:00-7:00 PM
  • Location: Walter Johnson High School Auditorium (6400 Rock Spring Dr, Bethesda)
  • Guest Limit: Each student may bring 2 guests maximum;
    • One guest will attend the ceremony in the auditorium,
    • The second guest will watch the ceremony streamed live in another location inside WJHS.
  • Live Stream: Available on YouTube (link sent day before via email)
  • Cost: Free (funded by PTSA donations)

 

3. 8th Grade Dance

  • Date: Wednesday, June 11th, 6:00-8:00 PM
  • Location: Tilden Middle School Cafeteria
  • Cost: Free (funded by PTSA donations)

 

How You Can Help

  • Donate: PTSA suggests $45 donation to support all events. Donate online at PTSA Square site or mail check to "Tilden Middle School PTSA" at the school.
  • Volunteer: Sign up to help with decorations, setup, and event support through the SignupGenius link.
  • Yard Signs: Available for $15 each through PTSA Square (order by June 5th).
