Online kindergarten registration opens February 17
Kindergarten online registration opens February 17, 2026. Online registration is done through ParentVue. If this is your first time registering with MCPS, please see the helpful Getting Started with Online Registration guide. More information regarding kindergarten enrollment is also available on the MCPS website.
For online registration, you will need electronic, legible copies of the following documents:

Proof of age - birth certificate or passport

Proof of residency - for homeowners, a property tax bill or an SDAT report. For renters, a copy of your lease with both you and your landlord's signatures.

Copy of a parent/guardian's ID - passport, driver's license

Proof of parental relationship - birth certificate, adoption paperwork

Immunization records
Within 20 days of the start of the 2026-27 school year (August 25), we will also need the following health forms:

SR-6 - physical exam, found on MCPS website (also linked here)

Maryland Lead Certificate - found on the MCPS website (also linked here)

Dental Form - found on MCPS website (also linked here)
Registrations are processed as they come in. Please allow for 2-3 business days to process enrollments. You will receive a registration confirmation email when your child is enrolled.
