Hard copy Kindergarten registration open
Hard copy registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open. To enroll your child at Takoma Park Elementary, here are the things we need:

Proof of age - birth certificate or passport

Proof of residency - for homeowners, a property tax bill or an SDAT report. For renters, a copy of your lease with both you and your landlord's signatures.

Copy of a parent/guardian's ID - passport, driver's license

Proof of parental relationship - birth certificate, adoption paperwork

Immunization records

Pre-K Experience form - found on MCPS website (also linked here)
Within 20 days of the start of the 2026-27 school year (August 25), we will also need the following health forms:

SR-6 - physical exam, found on MCPS website (also linked here)
