Join Us For Parent's Read Aloud Day
We are also proud to continue one of our favorite traditions — inviting parents and caregivers into our classrooms to read aloud to students from books written by African American authors and poets. This was a huge success last year, and our students absolutely loved hearing stories shared by family members. We are hoping for another great turnout this year!
Our Parent Read-Aloud Day is scheduled for February 27th. This is a wonderful opportunity to share powerful stories, celebrate diverse voices, and inspire students through literature. If you have a favorite title, feel free to bring it — and if you’d like recommendations, we’re happy to help.
