Slave Narratives Project
Between 1936 and 1938 the Federal Writer's Project interviewed over 2,300 former slaves and recorded their first-person account of the life of a slave. You will use the slave narratives to learn more about the life of a slave. Click the link below to access the narratives on from the Library of Congress.
Library of Congress Slave Narratives - Do a keyword search to find the person you have been assigned.

You will need to find a save at least one picture of your assigned person. When you locate the image on the Library of Congress site, right click on the picture and save it to your documents. You will use this photograph in your final project.
You will need to use Noodletools to site both the narrative and photograph you use.
