Where: Lathrop E. Smith Center, 5110 Meadowside Lane, Rockville, MD 20855
In honor of the founder of the Smith Center, Joe Howard, and his continuous supportive wife, Mary Howard, the Lathrop E. Smith Center and OEEP invite our community to join us for a day of service here at the Smith Center. Projects include beautification, maintenance of trails, and some building projects. We love that the Smith Center is such a memorable and valuable place for our students and our community!
You can find a link to our flyer HERE, and make sure to RSVP Here! Note that student volunteers are definitely welcome and can earn SSL hours, but students must be accompanied by an adult. This can be a parent/guardian, or a sponsor of a small group of students. More hands makes lighter work and we would love as many hands as possible to help.
