MCPL - Summer Reading
Keep your child reading this summer at the Public Library's Summer Reading Program!
It's that time of year! The Montgomery County Public Library's Summer Reading Program starts on June 13th . Participation is free and, when you enroll your student in the program (online or in-person), they will receive a free book right away, plus a chance to win tickets to a Washington Spirits game. Children set their own reading goals for each week of the summer (minutes, books or hours) and, upon reaching their goals for three weeks, they receive a free coupon for a Bruster's Ice Cream treat and a ticket voucher for a Washington Nationals game. After six weeks, they will receive another free book plus a chance to win a dinosaur themed collection of toys and books.
