Ms. Kristi Carranza

Hi! I’m Mrs. Carranza, and I am so happy to be a part of the Great Seneca Creek family! I have been teaching for 25 years. I grew up in Pennsylvania, and moved to Maryland after graduating with a degree in Elementary Education and Spanish. I enjoy traveling, watching baseball/football, and going to the beach. I live in Clarksburg with my husband, 15 year old son Alex, and 12 year old son Leo. I love teaching because it was my 5th grade teacher who supported my learning and challenged me to be the best student I could be. She inspired me to become a teacher, and I hope I can inspire my students!

Mrs. Caroline Kiernan

Hi! My name is Caroline Kiernan, and I am so excited to be joining the Great Seneca Creek Elementary School family! This year, I will be teaching fourth grade. I previously taught fourth grade at GES!

Outside of school, I am a proud mom to my 17-year-old son and a very energetic 9-month-old Golden Retriever! My family and I love spending time together, especially at the beach and in beautiful Colorado.

When I am not in the classroom, you can usually find me staying active and enjoying the outdoors. I love surfing, rock climbing, playing sports, stand-up paddleboarding, and traveling.

I am so excited for a fantastic year of learning, growing, and making memories together!

Ms. Jane Lehrman (Long-term Substitute for Ms. Berge)

This is my 18th year as a substitute in MCPS. I am married with 2 grown daughters, and a cat named Mimi. I have lived in Maryland over 30 years and worked at many schools.

Ms. Juliette Jung

Hi Bullfrogs! I'm so excited for another awesome year at the Creek. I've taught 2nd and 3rd grade both within MCPS and out of state. I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Maryland (go Terps!). Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and traveling. I look forward to helping your child learn and grow!
