About Our Third Grade Teachers

Ms. Meghan Kenst

I have been at GSCES since it opened! My family lives in Urbana. My daughter is a freshman in college and my son is a junior in highschool. My husband is a middle school history teacher. When I am not in school you will see me taking walks as well as cheering for my kids on the soccer or field hockey field. I look forward to helping your child learn and grow this year!

Ms. Lauren Berge

I am so excited to be coming back to the Great Seneca Creek community this year! I have been teaching in MCPS for 9.5 years and I have experience teaching 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and Pre-K. When I'm not at school, I'm probably hanging out at the farm with my horse Muffin or spending time with my husband, Mr. Josh, and our three cats. I love to read and will spend a lot of my down time reading any book I can get my hands on. I also love watching baseball (go Yankees!) and spending time with my family. I am so looking forward to this school year at The Creek!

Ms. Toni Dell

Greetings, I am Mrs. Dell, and I am currently in my tenth year at The Creek. My academic journey includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University, where I also had the privilege of playing field hockey. Building on this foundation, I pursued my masters at McDaniel College, where I successfully earned both my Masters degree and Certification in Elementary Education.
On a personal note, I've cherished 26 wonderful years of marriage and am a proud parent to four children: Alexis, Isaiah,Caleb and Gillian. Alexis, Isaiah, and Caleb all have full time jobs. Gillian just started her first year in law school.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me. If there's more you'd like to know or discuss, please don't hesitate to ask.

Ms. Lauren Loeb

Hi Bullfrogs! I'm so excited for another awesome year at the Creek. I've taught 2nd and 3rd grade both within MCPS and out of state. I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Maryland (go Terps!). Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and traveling. I look forward to helping your child learn and grow!
