Great Seneca Creek has achieved elite status in the SERT program by achieving a Great Energy Management Award in 2007-2008 school year. We are one of 31 schools who achieved a GEM energy savings status. Our active participation in the SERT program helped MCPS offset 2.1 million dollars in electricity changes.
