Open Book Exchange Policy:

GES Media Center has an open book exchange policy.  It is our belief that students should never be without reading materials, and so we encourage all students to visit the media center anytime during the school day (with their teacher’s permission and a media center pass) to select a new book or magazine for reading.  In addition to independent visits, students in kindergarten, first, second, and third grades come to the media center for scheduled book exchanges every week. Students in fourth and fifth grades come to the media center for lessons and book exchanges every two weeks.
