Galway Chronicle Weekly Updates September 7-September 11
Good evening Galway Families,
This is Principal Fuller with your weekly updates for September 7–11. We had another great week at Galway Elementary! Students are doing an excellent job responding to the routines and structures being implemented in their classrooms. We appreciate your continued support as we work together to create a positive and productive learning environment for all students.
This week, we are excited to welcome our families to Back to School Night! Grades K–2 will meet on Wednesday, and grades 3–5 will meet on Thursday. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit your child’s classroom, meet their teacher, and learn more about the exciting learning experiences ahead this school year.
And this year, Back to School Night is for the whole family! Come early, stay awhile, and enjoy our Family Resource Fair from 5:00–8:00 p.m. before and after classroom presentations, which will take place from 6:00–6:45 p.m.
Bring the kids, bring the family, and come enjoy an evening with the Galway community! There will be food trucks, games, face painting, free immunizations, community resources, and visits from our local emergency personnel. Whether you stop by for dinner, connect with community resources, enjoy some family fun, or do all three, there will be something for everyone! We hope you will make an evening of it and spend some time connecting with other Galway families and staff. We can’t wait to see you!
Please remember that teachers will not be able to hold individual parent conferences during Back to School Night. Each classroom teacher will provide information about how parents can schedule a conference at another time.
