Good evening Galway Families, this is Principal Fuller with your weekly update for August 24–28.
Summer has come to an end, and we are excited to welcome our Galway Lions back to school! The staff and I have been preparing for a wonderful school year, and we are looking forward to seeing our students and families this week.
Monday, August 24 – Kindergarten Transition Day
Monday is Transition Day for all kindergarten students. This is a full instructional day. School buses will pick up kindergarten students at their neighborhood bus stops at the posted times.
Tuesday, August 25 – First Day of School for All Students
Tuesday is the first day of school for all students. School doors will open at 9:10 a.m.
On Tuesday only, parents and guardians are welcome to walk their child(ren) to their classrooms between 9:10 and 9:25 a.m. Instruction begins promptly at 9:25 a.m., so we ask families to say their goodbyes and allow our teachers and students to begin their day on time.
We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to partnering with you to make this a successful, joyful, and productive school year for every Galway Lion.
