Library Circulation Policy.
For students, the circulation period is two weeks. Most materials may be renewed for an additional two weeks;* however, the student must present the item to activate the renewal.
Kindergarten students are allowed to have one item in circulation at a time.
1st and 2nd graders are allowed to have two items in circulation at a time.
3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students may check out three items at a time.
After two weeks, materials not returned or renewed become overdue. Students may not continue to check out any materials if even one item is past the due date.
It is the students responsibility to pay for any lost or overdue items. If the material is later found and in good condition, we will gladly refund your money.**
*Some items may have limited circulation such as current Black Eyed Susan Nominees, items placed on hold, or items needed for a class project.
** This extends only to the current school year. After June 31st lost book money is used to purchase and replace materials.
