Let's Get Graphic!
Do you have questions about graphic novels? Come in to speak with Ms. McDonald, and check out these great resources:
Meet Ms. McDonald - The Creative Librarian!
Ms. McDonald earned her Master of Library degree at University of Maryland, College of Information Studies (Maryland's iSchool) in December 2012. She specialized in School Library Media, and added Information for Diverse Populations when she realized that she hoped to work in a school with underserved populations. Ms. McDonald is the mother of four wonderful children, ages 17-25, and four furry children (a dog and three cats).
As a school library media specialist, Melissa looks forward to a fruitful career helping students reach their goals through 21st Century information literacy, technology, and nurturing their love of reading. Everyday she lives, works, and breathes the five roles of the school librarian – teacher, instructional partner, information specialist, program administrator, and leader.
