1st Annual Flower Hill Community "Every Day is Earth Day" Celebration with FHES
Join us on Saturday, April 29, 9am - 12 pm (Rain date, April 30, 1pm-4pm) to celebrate our beautiful Flower Hill community by participating in a neighborhood clean-up day and fun family activities at Jessica's Pond. Meet at the plaque at Jessica's Pond for the opening of the event, enjoy a nature read-aloud or two, and set out on a nature scavenger hunt while picking up trash and recyclables in the stream leading into Jessica's Pond, around the pond, and the stream adjacent to the pond.
What you need to bring:
- Heavy duty trash bag and a kitchen trash bag (we'll have extras if you forget)
- Work gloves
- Your family, a friend, and a smile
And, wear your favorite Earth Day-related t-shirt!
