Grocery Store Gift Cards
The PTA’s Grocery Gift Card program provides a way for all CGES families to earn money for our school WITHOUT spending any additional money or directly making donations. Such cards are available year round and the PTA earns 5% on all Giant card and Magruder’s gift certificate sales. ALL money earned from this fundraiser is used to fund PTA activities that benefit ALL CGES students.

Here's an example of how the fundraiser works. You call or email one of the PTA representatives who sell the gift cards – for example, Sylva -- and tell her that you would like to purchase a $100 Giant card. Sylva will make arrangements to drop the card off at your house and collect your check. The PTA earns $5.00 from the sale. And you can use your card to purchase $100 worth of groceries the next time you are at Giant.
The greater the number of parents who participate in this fundraiser, the more quickly the money adds up to help fund PTA initiatives such as Cultural Art shows, the Science Fair, the Art Fair, school picnics, etc.
