PTA Book Fair - March 2nd-6th

The Scholastic Book Fair is returning to College Gardens Elementary School March 2nd – March 6th, 2020.   For more information about hours and the Book Fair's Family Fund Night click on the link above.

Pre-K Registration Begins March 2nd

The MCPS Prekindergarten/Head Start program serves low-income families with children who will be four years old by September 1, 2020. This includes children with disabilities. There are limited spaces available in certain areas of Germantown, Rockville, and Takoma Park for Head Start income-eligible children who will be three years old by September 1, 2020. Please click on the link above for information on signing up for MCPS Pre-K programs.

Kindergarten Orientation - May 14th & 15th

We are excited to welcome our incoming kindergarten students to College Gardens for the 2020-2021 school year!  If your child is turning five by September 1st 2019, please call the Main Office to sign-up for an orientation session on either May 14th or 15th. Cultural Heritage Night - March 20th

Please join us as we celebrate the amazing and diverse cultural heritages at College Gardens Elementary School! March 20th 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The evening begins in the APR.

Volunteering at College Gardens - MCPS Mandatory Training

We hope you will be able to volunteer sometime this year whether it is helping in the classroom, participating in a classroom party or chaperoning a field trip. If you do, MCPS has new guidelines regarding volunteering including a MANDATORY ONLINE TRAINING. This training must be completed before you may volunteer in any way at the school. You may do the training online at home or at CGES in the Main Office. Click on the link above for more information.
