Americanism Essay Contest for 3rd through 5th gradersEach year, the American Legion Auxilary (ALA), Department of Maryland, sponsors an Americanism Essay Contest for students in grades 3-8. Grade levels are divided into three groups. Three awards in each of the three groups will be presented in each Unit, District and Department, with prizes at each level.
