Request for Parent Volunteers for Finance Park
On November 17, 20, and 21, the 7th grade will be going on a field trip to the MCPS Finance Park financial literacy simulation. We need volunteers to help make it run!
JA Finance Park is an innovation in experiential education designed to prepare our region’s youth for life and work in the real world. As a JA Volunteer, you’ll watch students step into the future and catch a glimpse of what’s possible if they take control of their financial future. JA students need your experience, expertise and commitment to help them be 100% inspired, 100% prepared and 100% employed when the time comes.
What: Finance Park field trip at MCPS’ Edison Center
Who: All 7th graders. You may sign-up for any or all dates!
When: Monday, November 17 - Mr. McCutcheon
Thursday, November 20 - Mr. Barnhouse
Friday, November 21 - Ms. McDonnell and Ms. Cacho
