Community Presentations on Boundary Studies and Secondary Programs Analysis
These discussions will help shape how students across the county access academic programs and schools in the years ahead. They are scheduled to be in-person sessions from 7-8 p.m. on:
- Oct. 30: John F. Kennedy High School, 1901 Randolph Road, Silver Spring - Spanish session offered (Region 3)
- Nov. 4: Watkins Mill High School, 10301 Apple Ridge Road, Gaithersburg - Spanish session offered (Region 5)
- Nov. 10: Montgomery Blair High School, 51 University Blvd. East, Silver Spring - Amharic session offered (Region 1)
- Nov. 13: Winston Churchill High School, 11300 Gainsborough Road, Potomac - Chinese session offered (Region 4)
- Nov. 17: Paint Branch High School, 14121 Old Columbia Pike, Burtonsville - Spanish session offered (Region 2)
- Nov. 18: Clarksburg High School, 22500 Wims Road, Clarksburg - Chinese session offered (Region 6)

All the sessions will have Spanish interpretation as well as American Sign Language (ASL) support. They will also be recorded and posted online. More language specific events are being planned and will be shared in the future.
There will also be a virtual “Pregúntale a MCPS” live on Facebook for Spanish-speaking families at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
Family Engagement Specialists will be present at the meetings to support families culturally, with our language skills and, in helping direct attendants to the people that can answer their questions and hear their comments.
