Black and Brown Coalition for Educational Equity and Excellence Event
Montgomery County Public Schools is known for its work with community partners to achieve optimal results for all students. The Black and Brown Coalition for Educational Excellence and Equity, a partnership between NAACP and Identity, began its collective advocacy in 2019 on behalf of black, brown, and low-income students with a specific focus on MCPS outcomes related to: equitable access to resources and opportunities, effective and diverse teachers and leaders, and rigorous coursework.
The Black and Brown Coalition for Educational Excellence and Equity will host a virtual forum on October 15, 2020 at 7:00 pm. We are asking at least one administrator from each school to attend.
