Damascus High school major capital improvement project

Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) is beginning the process for the upcoming Damascus High School Major Capital Improvement Project. As part of this process, MCPS will be hosting a series of community engagement meetings to provide project updates, discuss the design process, and gather input from students, families, staff, and community members.

Attached is the community meeting mailer that was recently distributed to the Damascus High School community with information regarding the upcoming meetings.

The upcoming community meetings are scheduled for:

• October 12, 2026 – 6:00 p.m.
• October 28, 2026 – 6:00 p.m.
• November 9, 2026 – 6:00 p.m.

All meetings will be held in the Damascus High School cafeteria.
