Utilizing all of their "powers of delegation," room parents will:
- Distribute the Westbrook Directory to parents on back-to-school night. (Which is a great time to sign-up volunteers for each party!)
- Coordinate the Halloween, Valentines and end-of-year student parties
- Coordinate the parent-teacher Fall social gathering by grade (potluck or "group contribution" will do!)
- Secure volunteers for the lice checks throughout the year.
- Use the "Grade-list" email listsrv for main communication. Emails go to the entire grade, not just your class, so be sure to include the teachers name in the subject line, i.e., "Atkinson - Halloween Volunteer Duties" or similar subject heading.
- Enjoy knowing that your contribution is what makes Westbrook so special!
