Thanks to generous PTA donations, every classroom at Westbrook is equipped with ELMO technology. The ELMO document camera uses a digital camera to capture a live image of any object placed underneath the camera. When combined with an LCD projector, teachers can capture and project worksheets, textbooks, maps, student work, and even three dimensional objects. It can be used both for teacher modeling and interactively with students. When it is connected to a computer with a USB cable, teachers can also capture images and video for use with other programs.
