Welcome to 3rd Grade!
Reading/Language Arts homework will be passed out on Mondays. The homework is to be kept in a spiral notebook. Students will have an activity to complete each day, Monday through Thursday. In addition to the spiral notebook homework, there will also a reading log for students to complete which will provide the necessary reading reinforcement required to develop strong reading skills. The goal for each student is to become more fluent when reading while practicing various decoding and comprehension strategies.
Math homework for the week will be passed out on Mondays as well. The homework is to be completed and turned in on Friday. Homework will reinforce topics that are covered in class. If students are interested in other opportunities for practice with a skill they can use IXL.
