Please do not send any medications, including
over-the-counter, to school with your child. The health technician is not
authorized to give any medication without a completed medication form from the
doctor. Students may not have eye drops, cough drops, or any creams at school
without an MCPS medication form. If you have any questions, please

families have been targeted by what is known as a virtual kidnapping
scam. The scam begins with community members receiving a call from an
unfamiliar number, often from an international area code. When the call

If your child requires the use of an inhaler or other
medication, an Authorization to Administer Prescribed Medication form must be completed
by your physician and submitted to the health room. Students should not
have any medication or inhalers in their backpacks, all medication must
administered in the health room.
