Registration for classes during the 2015-2016 school year will begin this week. Click here to download Northwood's 2015-2016 Course Bulletin. Applications are also open for classes at Thomas Edison High School of Technology. Apply online here or download a print application here. The priority due date for applying for classes at Edison is February 20, 2015.

Football Coach Meet-and-Greet on January 30
Parents, athletes and staff are invited to hear from new Varsity Football Coach Joe Allen on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 6 pm in the Media Center. Coach Allen will share his vision for the Gladiator Football program.
Youth Cruiser Passes On Sale February 2
On Monday, February 2, 2015, The Department of Transportation will be selling Youth Cruiser Passes during the lunch period. The Youth Cruiser Passes cost $2.00 each. Students who would like to purchase a card must present a birth certificate, passport or state issued I.D. (can send photocopy) and $2.00 (CASH ONLY). Class of 2017 Fundraiser
Join the Class of 2017 for dinner at Panera Bread in downtown Silver Spring on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 6 - 9 pm. Panera Bread will donate a portion of the proceeds earned during this time to the sophomore class. Download the event flyer here.
Register for Saturday School
The George B. Thomas, Sr. Learning Academy, Inc., a tutoring and mentoring program, operates Saturday School centers at twelve sites in Montgomery County and serves over 3,000 students annually from cluster elementary, middle, and high schools. The program, which serves students in grades 1 through 12, is held on Saturday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interested in registering your child for Saturday School this semester? ACES Program Information
Attention ALL 10th grade families!
Is your 10th grader going to be the first in your family to attend college in the United States? Are you worried about paying for college and whether your child will be ready for the next challenges of college? Then encourage your child to apply to the Achieving Collegiate Excellence & Success (ACES) program, a partnership between Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), Montgomery College (MC), and the Universities of Shady Grove (USG).
The ACES program will help your child value responsibility, be independent, and never give up. Your child will receive a personal Academic Coach who will establish a one-on-one relationship and provide academic and college planning workshops. Ultimately, we expect excellence from ACES students and will work with your child closely as they work to achieve their goals and be successful in high school, college, and beyond.

The college fair on Monday, February 18, 2015 is open to all MCPS students in grades 9-12 and their parents.

The application season for the Edison High School of Technology for 2015-2016 is now OPEN. Applications are accepted until the programs have reached capacity, but there is a priority due date for the more popular programs. The priority due date is February 20, 2015.

Don't forget to register for Giant's A+ program which donates funds to local schools. The program runs through March 2015.
