Eagle Scout Project Leads to the Creation of New Bullpens
Baseball pitchers now have a safe and effective place to warm up at Northwood High School. On June 14, 27 volunteers built two bullpens in the NHS baseball field. Part of 2014 Baseball Team Co-Captain, Andrew Bryson's Eagle Scout Project, the volunteers consisted of current and former NHS baseball players and Boy Scouts. When the bullpens were complete, Bryson and his co-captain Aidan Sawyer tried them out and gave them a thumbs up. The project received funding from the Northwood High School Athletic Booster Club.
