AP Pre-Registration Event
All students who are enrolled in an AP course, with the exception of AP US History & AP NSL, should plan to attend the AP Pre-Registration event on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 9:30 am in the cafeteria. Students will receive information on how to pre-register for their AP tests in May. Students in AP US History and AP NSL will pre-register for their tests during class.

Spring Break 2016 Tour
From March 26, 2016 - April 2, 2016 students will have an opportunity to take a French Language Immersion tour of Paris. Each day of the tour is built around a different theme that ties together daily language classes, cultural activities and interactions with locals. Graduation Bus Reservations
Attention parents: If you are interested in reserving seats on the PTSA bus that will be transporting parents to graduation on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at DAR Constitution Hall, make sure to fill out a bus reservation form ASAP along with a check made payable to the Northwood PTSA ($14 round trip, $7 one way). Loading begins at noon with departure scheduled at 12:30 to ensure that you will arrive on time for the 2:30 pm ceremony. Reservations are due by Friday, May 22, 2015. The second Bell Schedule Team has completed the recommended bell schedule for the 2015-2016 school year.
Web Services is working on many exciting projects this year and seeking interns to help out. In return, the students will earn SSL hours and learn while working on public-facing websites in a dynamic office environment.
The event will be hosted on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 1-4 at the Universities at Shady Grove.
The George B. Thomas, Sr. Learning Academy, Inc., a tutoring and mentoring program, operates Saturday School centers at twelve sites in Montgomery County and serves over 3,000 students annually from cluster elementary, middle, and high schools.
