The 6th grade orientation and 7th and 8th grade students who are new to MLK MS will be held on Thursday, August 31st from 8:00 - 12:00. Transportation will be provided to all students who ride a bus to school. Bus schedules will be provided in early August in the principal's summer letter.
The staff at MLK MS is looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks. The first day of school is Tuesday, September 5. This summer letter contains information about the upcoming school year including bus routes and school information.
Join the staff of MLK as they celebrate a new school year on Thursday, August 31st from 6:00 - 7:30 pm. Enjoy free food, games, and school information as well as receive a copy of your student's schedule.
Summer Reading assignments are available for Grades 6th, 7th, and 8th. Students must turn in their English summer assignments by September 11, 2017 for full credit.
Board of Education Adopts New Calendar for 2017-18 School Year
The MLK 2017-18 supply list is now available.
Summer math assignments are available for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, Algebra 1 and Honors Geometry. Please complete the summer packet for the class you are enrolled in for the Fall. The deadline to turn in completed assignments is September 15, 2017.
