2008-2009 School Supply List

Each grade level has provided a list of supplies their students will need to bring to school.  Please label all your child's supplies and belongings.

Be sure to register Luxmanor ES as your school of choice, to receive Safeway and Giant bonus points. Our school code for Safeway is 6531272 and our school code for Giant is 0725.  At the end of the year, the points are added up and the stores donate educational equipment and cash to our school.  

Luxmanor Newspaper is coming!

New this year will be a newspaper club that will meet each Tuesday after school. Unfortunately, the activity bus will not be in effect until November. If your child is interested you will have to provide the transportation until November  This club is open to students in grades 3-5.  Look for permission slips to come home mid-September.

Luxmanor Addition

Luxmanor's Young Minority Scholars have designed a web page to keep the community up to date on the new addition that is under construction.  You can get information, see the building plans and see pictures of the work in progress.  Check out the Lux New Addition page.

The proposed completion date for construction is February 19, 2009.

You can get up-to-date information on Montgomery County School Closings at the MCPS home page. All emergency announcements are displayed in bold red letters at the top of the page.

You can sign up to receive email notification (available in six languages) whenever there is any change in county-wide school status at Quick Notes.
