Laytonsville ES has paired up with the Damascus Library to encourage and excite our students to “Dig Into a Good Book”. Each student is asked to complete at least two postcards or letters reflecting on two of the books read
Inspiring Summer Reading Students who read for pleasure over the summer months can make a 3 month gain in reading achievement. Conversely, students who do not read over the summer can experience a 3 month decline in reading achievement
