High School Application Programs
MCPS has changed the high school magnet program selection through the new Regional Programming Model. The regional model is based on your home address. If your home high school is within the RCMS boundary, your student will be in Region 6. If you are here as a special placement, your student will most likely fall in Region 5. Applications open in October but please check out the MCPS website for more information.
At RCMS, Mrs. Becknell, our 8th grade counselor, is going through all this material with our 8th graders during High School 101. Please see the 8th grade classroom for more information.
