Churchill's Summer Symposium UPDATED Brochure (not regional summer school)
Churchill will once again be hosting our Summer Symposium this year for our incoming 9th graders and current Churchill students. Dates are June 26 – August 4, 2017 for all credited classes. Non-credited classes begin July 10th. Please check the Summer Symposium Brochure link above for classes and dates they are offered.
New Club Request and Club Renewal Applications are now available for the 2017-2018 school year. Click the link above. Due date for both forms is Friday, June 2nd.

The Online Attendance Note Submission link is not working. Please use handwritten notes that include the first and last name of the student (separate notes per child), grade level, ID number, type of absence (Early Departure [must include time of departure], Late Arrival, or Full Day), parent name printed and signed along with daytime phone number, and specific reason. If a student is ill, please provide your child with a note to take to the Attendance Office when they return to school.
The attached letter is being posted as a proactive measure in the interest of ensuring that parents/guardiansknow about the Netflix series, 13 Reasons Why, based on the 2007 young adult novel by Jay Asher.

As many in the community are aware,
the Churchill Stadium and Athletic Fields were extensively vandalized twice in
late January and again in late February of 2017. Since this time, we have
worked with MCPS Security and Maintenance divisions to determine what type of
security measures will be most effective and affordable. Additional
lighting (motion activated) is scheduled to be installed soon. In addition, we
have worked closely with the school security team and Resource Officer
(MCPD) to identify potential threats and increase evening patrols
These measures have been taken to deter further vandalism and inappropriate use
of the facilities at night. By the time our lighting is
installed and the Spring sports seasons end, we will be very close to the end
of the school year so the gates will remain closed until the end of the school

Registering for the online MCPS courses (Comprehensive Health Education, Foundations of Technology A/B, and Foundations of Computer Science A/B) is a multi-step process. The Student eLearning office provides information about the MCPS registration process. Please be aware of this multi-step process as you begin.
