B.E. TV is a school-wide morning television program that is produced by fifth grade students. All fifth graders have the opportunity to be a part of B.E. TV. Crew jobs are assigned on a monthly basis. Students can choose to work behind the scenes as a camera or sound technician or in the spotlight as an anchor or weather person. Each student who is involved in B.E. TV is responsible for carrying out his/her job duties along with training new crew members for the following month. B.E. TV is viewed by the entire school each morning and provides the principal and other staff members with a forum to announce important school news on a daily basis while, at the same time, provides fifth grade students with jobs that promote responsibility, cooperation, and technological skills.
