Welcome to B-CC Music 2014-2015! Grammy cover 

The B-CC Music Department has earned 2 Grammy Foundation awards and offers six instrumental ensembles, three choral ensembles, guitar, piano and IB music classes. Extracurricular activities include the pep band, drum line/percussion ensemble, pit orchestra and small quartets and combos. Nearly 500 students are enrolled in a music class each semester.

 Annual Citrus Fruit Fundraiser

Support the B-CC Music Department and receive delicious citrus fruit delivered this holiday season! 
Order online by October 31 and remember to designate a student in the music department ("seller") who will receive credit toward the spring Music Trip. For questions, contact Rachel Lostumbo.

 

Community Closet Concert Attire Fundraiser 

The annual Community Closet sale will be held Sunday, October 26, 10am-4pm at 7101 Oakridge Avenue in Chevy ChaseThe sale provides an affordable way for incoming freshmen and growing upper-classmen to obtain the formal wear they must have to perform in our award-winning ensembles. At the sale, choose from donated tuxedoes (jackets $20, pants $20), dress shirts $10concert dress (there is one required style for all performances) $40 and accessories (bow ties and cummerbunds $5 each). Or, exchange one outfit for another at no cost! Cash and checks only please. Proceeds from the sale go to the Music Department. If you miss the Community Closet sale, you may order new attire.  CD  Music CDs for Sale
The B-CC Jazz Ensemble, B-CC Alumni students, B-CC Staff Combo, and vocal soloists performed at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club on May 22. On April 29 through May 1, the award-winning B-CC Music Program Spring Concert student ensembles performed in the B-CC Auditorium. These events were professionally recorded and are available to purchase for $15 each. To order, specify which CD and send cash or check (made payable to “B-CC Music Department”) to Marshall White in the B-CC Music Office.
