Title : Schooled
Author: Gordon Korman
Call Number: F KOR
Summary: Capricorn (Cap) Anderson’s grandmother is in the hospital, so he is sent to live with a "normal" family. Along the way Cap gets elected eighth grade president, meets new friends, and gets made fun of. The story is funny. I couldn’t put it down.
Why should they read it? You should read Schooled because the plot is funny, adventurous and heart-warming at the same time. I liked it because I sort of related to the plot and I’m sure some of my fellow students can relate to the story too. I also liked it because the characters are normal kids like us (except Capricorn). That’s why you should read Schooled.

Title : The Secret Identity of Devon Delaney
Author: Lauren Barnholdt
Call Number: F BAR
Summary: Devon spent her whole summer with her little sister and her grandmother. By accident, she told her “summer friend”, Lexi, that she was really popular back home and dating Jared Bentley, only the most popular guy in school. Harmless lies, right? Wrong! Not when Lexi is standing at the front of Devon’s class, having just moved to Devon`s town. Uh-oh!
Why should they read it? It is exciting from beginning to end! Her lies get her into trouble and I never knew what was going to happen next! It teaches a very important lesson about being honest about yourself.
