Mr. Joshua Munsey, Principal
Mr. Munsey is the proud principal of RICA. Prior to becoming the principal, he served as an assistant principal at Wheaton High School, and at RICA. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland in English Literature, a Master’s degree from The Johns Hopkins University in Special Education, and his administrative certificate from McDaniel College. He joined RICA after serving as the Resource Teacher for Special Education at Clarksburg High School. Prior to that, he was a special education teacher, football and wrestling coach at both Clarksburg High School and Wheaton High School. He also has been a para-educator at Wheaton High School and at RICA. He has three children, one who is attending the University of Maryland.
Mr. Rainer Kulenkampff, Assistant Principal
Mr. Kulenkampff has been a school administrator since 2015 and has worked in various capacities as a coach, teacher, SGA sponsor, assistant athletic director and assistant principal since 2005. Mr. K. believes being an assistant principal at RICA is an incredible honor. He holds a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Wayne State University, MI and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Oakland University, MI. Mr. K earned his Administrative Certificate from McDaniel College, MD. He is passionate about helping students succeed in social-emotional and academic endeavors. John Ariana, High School Program Specialist
Mr. Arianna has been at RICA for 21 years. He has had many different roles throughout his time at RICA. Mr. Arianna started his career as a paraeducator and soon earned his certification as a special education teacher. In that position he taught middle school social studies before becoming a student support teacher. After a number of year as middle school program specialist, in the 2019-2020 school year, he has become the high school program specialist.
Kristen Millios, Middle School Program Specialist
Ms. Millios has been at RICA since 2017 and has worked in various capacities as a special education teacher at a learning center and PEP supporting the needs of parents and students through early childhood services. She holds a Masters of Science in Special Education from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Portland in Oregon. Ms. Millios earned her Administrative Certificate from Hood College, MD. Ms. Millios is currently serving as the elementary/middle school program specialist.
