High School Regional Programs
Beginning in fall 2027, MCPS will launch a new Regional High School Model, expanding access to specialized programs across the county. Current, school year 2025-2026, Grade 7 students will be the first to benefit from these expanded opportunities. Students may choose to apply to regional programs based on their interests. These programs are designed to expand opportunities, not replace the strong programs available at every high school.
