What? Join us for an evening in the media center!

  • Bring your whole family for hot cocoa, crafts, board games, book check out and more!
  • This event is free and open to LPMS families.
  • Students must attend with a parent or adult caretaker.

Sunshine Cart: January 20

This year, we have been treating staff monthly to a Sunshine Cart, filled with goodies to brighten their day. On January 20th, we are asking for donations of fruits and vegetables to kick off a healthy new year. This can be items like -up cantaloupe, individual servings of applesauce, baby carrots, cut-up cucumbers, anything in that arena. The school is providing paper goods and ranch dressing. We have approximately 140 staff members. The items can be brought to the main office anytime if non-perishable (such as raisins) and labeled SUNSHINE CART. If perishable (such as a caesar salad) please bring by 8:30am on Tuesday January 20. If you have any questions, please email Kathleen Jacobs at Kathleen_M_Jacobs@mcpsmd.org. This year at Lakelands Park Middle School we are working together with school staff to encourage positive student behaviors. Students are recognized by staff with Falcon Bucks for exhibiting character traits that contribute to a positive climate. See below how you can help!

Donate: Additionally if you have leftover party favors or gift bag items in your home that you would like to donate please drop them in the box labeled "Falcon Bucks Store" in the office and we would be happy to repurpose them to the Falcon Bucks Store!

Volunteer: Please sign up to support our Falcon Bucks stores in each grade level area every other Friday morning. This opportunity does not involve the exchange of actual money. Volunteer here.
