At Lakelands Park, we foster a sense of belonging and challenge students to grow beyond what they imagined possible. JAEL BAEZ, ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

I am thrilled to be the Assistant Principal for the 6^th grade. Before serving as a school administrator, my educational leadership included three years as a Team Leader in New York City Public Schools and MCPS, and three years as a Content Specialist in English, Bilingual Studies, and Social Studies across Newark, New Brunswick, and MCPS, respectively. My diverse experiences—coupled with my unique perspective as an immigrant, Afro-Latino, and English language learner—fuel my dedication to enhancing our learning environment and supporting our vibrant school community.

TIRZA CARMICHAEL COLLINS, ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

I am excited to join the Falcon Family as the 7th Grade Assistant Principal at Lakelands Park Middle School. My educational leadership experience includes serving as a Team Leader and School Administrator in other Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) middle schools. I have also taught elementary and middle school Reading and English/Language Arts in Prince George's County and Montgomery County. I am passionate about every student's success and dedicated to partnering with families, staff, and the community to create a supportive, inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive. I believe that strong relationships, high expectations, and collaboration are the foundation of student achievement, and I look forward to helping every student reach their full potential.
