Highland View ES-April is Math Month| Estimation Station Winners
April is Math Month
Are you wondering why these students are crowded in front of a bulletin board covered with sheets of wrapping paper? They are just a few of the many Highland View youngsters who are trying to figure out the answers to several estimation problems. Throughout the month of April students are challenged to use their math skills to problem-solve answers to a variety of math problems located in the main entrance of our school.
Students have enjoyed Wow Wee Wednesdays during the morning announcements. The math committee shared unusual math facts and statistics and wowed the entire school.
Students and faculty wore shirts with numbers each Friday. The numbers on the shirts were included in math activities for students to solve.
