From Seeds to Plants

In Science, our class studied plants. One day we grew some bean plants. Ms. Justice gave us a bowl, soil, and seeds. First, we put the soil into the bowl. Next, we poked a hole in the soil with our fingers. Then we put a bean seed into the hole and covered it. Each day we watered the seeds. The plants grew.

As the plants grew, we saw a stem and then leaves. The plants got bigger and bigger. They are still growing next to the window sill. We keep them near the window so that they can receive sunlight.
