    In addition to the sites below, The Montgomery County Public Library Kidsite has a variety of summer activities for kids and teens.  Visit your local library to check out great books and participate in the summer reading program!   See you all next year!

    Ride the Internet wave to the Montgomery County Public Library kids portion of their website and log onto BookFlix!

    BookFlix is an online literary resource that pairs fictional stories on video from Weston Woods with nonfiction ebooks of a related topic from Scholastic.  All you need to access this FREE source is your MCPL card.  There are additional online activities with each pair of books.  Looks like a great rainy day activity to me!  Visit from home or using the computers at your local library!

    By the way, the Gaithersburg library still remains closed for their renovation this summer.    However, you may visit the Gaithersburg Interim Branch @ Lakeforest Mall! Monday 5 pm-9pm, Tuesday 1pm-9pm, Wednesday 1pm-9pm, Thursday 1pm-9pm, Friday 10 am-6pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, and Sunday 1pm-5pm.  The next closest libraries are Damascus-9701 Main St., Damascus, MD or Germantown-19840 Century Blvd., Germantown, MD.
