Round 1 Application
The Division of Consortia and Application Program Services (DCAPS) published the application for part-time high school programs on October 7, 2026.
To complete the application, please ensure your student is logged into their MCPS chromebook or, if using a personal device, into the Chrome browser with their .net credentials. Per MCPS communications, the form will close on November 6th.
Students may apply to up to three programs. These are not rank choice selections. They are three individual lotteries that the student is choosing to enter.
Lottery results are communicated by MCPS central office in late January to the student email linked to the application and the parent email that the student entered into the form at the time of application. It is essential that the student enter the parent/guardian email with accuracy.
If invited, a student may select a program in January and remain on the waitlists for the others to which they have applied. A student may not 'swap' a seat offer to one program for another (i.e. a student invited to HVAC cannot swap that invitation for another program like Carpentry). Students should not accept a seat to a program if they no longer have interest in the program content as it removes an opportunity from another student seeking a specialized program.
