Golf Team 2016
2015 Team Members (and parents) and prospective team members,
I again will be assisting a new Golf Coach this season.
I wanted to send out this information about forms required to participate for Tryouts along with dates for Tryouts and Practices for the first two weeks. All dates are subject to change, but expect minor changes if any.

Please complete the appropriate forms and pay the $32.50 ECA fee.
These forms include: MCPS Form SR-8
MCPS Form 560-30
Student-Parent Participation Contract ...
MSDE Concussion Awareness & Sudden Cardiac Arrest .... Acknowlegement Statement
and if appropriate, The MSDE Pre-Participation Head Injury Reporting Form
Copy of the Receipt of the ECA Fee
All forms should be turned in at the school in an envelope addressed to the 2016 Golf Coach and delivered to the school to be placed in Athletic Director Jesse Smith's mailbox. Please make sure all forms are filled in completely and signed. If I have missed any forms, please fill out all other appropriate forms.

Due to limited tee times for Tryouts, all golfers (boys and girls) that qualified for the States Championship last season are exempt from qualifying, but are encouraged to come to Tryouts. If you fall into this exempt category and cannot make Tryouts, please let me know.
Let me know if you intend to be driving next season, and if you can drive other team members.
Let me know of tournaments that you have played in over the summer and how you did, well or poorly. If poorly, do not worry as long as you found benefit from it. If you could not find benefit, please let me know and I will show you how you did (or should of found) benefit and experience great growth.
Each and every round is growth. Enjoy and embrace it!!
Also, let me know of any students that you know of that is interested in Trying Out. Provide me with their (the STUDENTS) contact information, and also have them contact me. Also provide me with Carter Andrew's e-mail and/or phone number.
If any of you are interested in collecting pictures/videos throughout the season and preparing a Slide/Video show for the banquet, please let me know.
Expect that there will be a cost of approximately $150/ team member for shirt(s), skorts, cap, banquet, and misc. for the season.
I will be providing this seasons Coach with all the information you provide, and assisting throughout the season to make the transition smooth and guarantee continued success.
