Volleyball Paperwork is Due:  Thursday, August 11th from 2 - 3 PM at B-CC.

 

Required Forms (due on the 11th): 

1) Current Physical (good for one calendar year and signed by a physician)

2) Medical Card

3) Parent Permission Form

 

Tryouts  

 

Start Date:  Saturday, August 13th 

 

8:30 - 9:00 AM -- Parent and Player sign-in

9:00 - 11:00 AM -- Session I (JV and Varsity)

------BREAK------

1:00 - 3:00 PM -- Session II (JV and Varsity)

 

You MUST attend BOTH sessions in order to be considered for either team.  

 

The following week’s itinerary will be available on Saturday, August 13th in a packet for players and parents to take home. 

 

Students have the option of going home to change and refuel for the next session OR sticking around the school.  If students choose to stick around, they will not be allowed to stay in the gym.  Please make sure that they come prepared with a healthy snack, plenty of fluids, and anything else they will need to participate in the second session.  

 

Please bring/wear the following to tryouts: 

1) T-shirt (No tank tops or cut-up T’s will be allowed)

2) Spandex 

3) Volleyball Shoes*

4) Knee Pads **

5) Crew/Knee socks (No ankle socks)

6) Water bottle/Sports drink - enough for 2-hour sessions

7) Towel (small) - optional

 

*Court shoes are fine to wear for tryouts, but if players make the team, volleyball specific shoes should be purchased at the beginning of the season 

**Varsity Requires black knee pads so they are suggested to be purchased
