The Lady Barons varsity field hockey team finished its season 14-3 after losing to Westminster in the 4A West regional championship.
At Bethesda Chevy Chase on 11/1, BCC beat Walter Johnson 2-1 in overtime in a field hockey 4A West regional semi-final match. BCC goals by Madisson Tully, Jenn Dewey and Abby Frank. BCC assist by Rebecca Natoli. BCC tied the game with 2:00 left in the second on a goal by Jenn Dewey. Abby Frank won it on a penalty stroke 3 minutes into overtime. On 10/28, Bethesda Chevy Chase defeated Northwest 3-1 in a 4A West regional quarterfinal field hockey playoff match. Barons goals by Danielle Harkaway (2) and Abby Frank (on a penalty stroke). BCC assist by Grace Reingruber. Barons play again on Monday, November 1 at BCC in a state regional semifinal match against an opponent to be determined.
