Field Day

The PTA is sponsoring Montgomery Knolls Field Day this year on June 2nd! We need your help to make it the best one yet! Please review the available slots and sign up.

MKES Career Day 2025

Career day is Tuesday, June 3 from 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. We are looking for members of the Montgomery Knolls Elementary School family who have careers they would like to share with MKES students.  If you would like to be a part of shaping the lives of MKES children, please contact Ms. Linnea Powery, School Counselor at linnea_b_powery@mcpsmd.org or you can also fill out this form 

Kindergarten Parent Information Session

MKES will host one more information session for future Kindergarten families. Families will hear an overview of the Kindergarten program. The final session will be  on Friday, June 6 from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. Teachers will not participate in these sessions.

Volunteers Welcome

If you are interested in volunteering at Montgomery Knolls either as a classroom helper or as a chaperone on a field trip click on this link to find out more about how to become a volunteer. 

Montgomery Knolls Pre-Screen

Avoid long lines when you arrive at big school events! Family members on MKES students' emergency contact list can complete this form to be pre-screened for big school events.  Once you have completed the form will receive a confirmation email that you are cleared to attend the celebration. Once registered, it is good for the entire school year. You will need to sign in and show your identification.

  • What You Should Know About Riding the Bus
  • Car Riders/Walkers –  As a part of our dismissal procedures, you will be assigned a pick-up number to display in the front window of your car on the passenger side or  If you are a walker, you must show a sign with your number when picking up your child. You can pick your number up during Open House or it will be sent home on the first day of school.
