Important Chromebook Update!

After receiving feedback from staff and parents, the decision was made and MCPS is supporting Wyngate with our transition to becoming a Chromebook Cart Model School. In short, for this year and beyond, all Chromebooks will live at the school full-time. Each classroom will have their own Chromebook cart of 30 Chromebooks, and students will be assigned them accordingly to use during specific lessons. At the end of the day, all Chromebooks will be returned to the carts. If you need a Chromebook to use at home, please reach out to Principal Young and he will be happy to share the MCPS form and they will support you with that. Please send the Chromebook and charger to school as soon as possible. Please remove all stickers if there are any and ensure that it is in good working order. MCPS will have staff at Wyngate during the first week of school inventorying the Chromebooks and wiring the carts to be used. Thanks in advance for your support with this.
